Ok here is the deal…

I have personally been working very hard trading pieces for pieces to allow me to get multiple sets of Lotto Pieces such as the Baccaratt Shoe, Rouelette Whell etc…

So what do you have to do to get your very own set?

Pretty simple actually, all you need to do is to make a donation here of at least $100 and you will recieve your very own set right away! WE ARE NOT SELLING any LOOT, LOTTO, or other Mafia Wars items we are only donating them based on your kind donations to our creation of our new Foundation that supports Brain and Spinal Cord Disorders…

If you want to make a donation but would like to send a lesser amount that is fine, we will still send you free gifts FOR ANY DONATION! To get a full set of Lotto Pieces would need to be at least $100 donation though.

We will be updating the site with new information and even some new design features! So check back often to see what we are up to!

Finishing off the tourney we will be holding a finals event at our Favorite Italian Restaurant and sports bar, Santisi Brothers!

To enter this tournament you must have:

taken 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th in one of the first three events
Been in the TOP 20 in points not including the 1st-4th positions that automatically get in
Been Selected in the $5 Raffle for the 32 available spots
Been one of the 8 selected guests that have helped to make an effort in our CAUSE or are strugling with the disorder themselves.
4 of the 8 spots will be reserved for those that made or will make a donation of $250 or more to support our new Foundatioin. AllinJac – A Family of Poker Players that Support Syringomyelia and Chiari

In case you are not aware Syringomyelia is a rare disorder of the spinal cord and Chiari is a rare disorder of the brain. Having Chiari can cause Syringomyelia, or you can get Syringomyelia for a trauma to the brain and or spinal cord.

This will be a deep stack tournament starting with 5,000 in chips and 30 minute blinds!

Just want everyone to know that we have a tourney coming up this Sunday the 1st of November and the doors open @11:30 AM K O’donnell’s in Scottsdale.

This Tournement will help in our Cause! Poker Players supporting Syringomyelia and Chiari, a rare disorder of the spinal cord and brain.

The tournament structure will be as follows:

Doors open @ 11:30
For early bird registration! You will be given 500 free chips if you show up before noon. The only place this info is published will be here on the site! Get there early and be rewarded!

SNG @ 12PM till around 1:45 – 2:00 PM
SNG or otherwise known as Sit & Go’s or some places call them looser tables are a table of no more then 8 players. If you place 1st or 2nd you will earn points towards the main event for DBacks tickets that will be held on November the 28th @ Santisi Brothers in Phoenix Arizona off of I-17 and Bell Road in the shopping plaza just west of I-17. 1st place prize is FREE ENTRY to tournament plus $25 Donation at start of game for an extra 3000 chips, plus an add-on of 2500 chips. So if you win the $10 SNG you will be starting the tourney with 6,500 chips for FREE!

Tourney @ 2:15
The actual tourney will start @ 2:15 and you can start the tourney with as many as 6,500 chips and we have extended the normal 15 minute blinds to 20 minutes!

SyringomyeliaWhat is syringomyelia?

Syringomyelia, often referred to as SM, is a chronic disorder involving the spinal cord. The condition occurs when cerebrospinal fluid (normally found outside of the spinal cord and brain) enters the interior of the spinal cord, forming a cavity known as a syrinx.

This syrinx often expands and elongates over time, destroying the center of the spinal cord. As the nerve fibers inside the spinal cord are damaged, a wide variety of symptoms can occur, depending upon the size and location of the syrinx.

There are two major types of SM. In most cases it is related to a congenital malformation involving the hindbrain (cerebellum) called a Chiari I Malformation. This malformation occurs during fetal development and is characterized by downward displacement of the lower part of the brain (cerebellar tonsils) beneath the foramen magnum, into the cervical spinal canal. This displacement blocks the normal flow of cerebrospinal fluid. When normal flow is obstructed, a syrinx can form in the spinal cord. Not all patients with Chiari Malformations will develop a syrinx, however.

SM can also occur as a complication of trauma, meningitis, tumor, arachnoiditis, or a tethered spinal cord. In these cases the syrinx forms in the section of the spinal cord damaged by these conditions. As more people are surviving spinal cord injuries, more cases of post-traumatic SM are being diagnosed as the syrinx can form years after the trauma.

What are the symptoms?

Symptoms develop slowly over time, but can come on suddenly after a fall or minor trauma. Sensation may be affected first. Some common symptoms include:

Loss of sensitivity to hot and cold
Numbness and tingling
Bowel and bladder function may be affected
Scoliosis
Pain
Muscle weakness
Spasticity
Paralysis (in severe cases, quadriplegia)
Scoliosis may be the only symptom in children. Often people with scoliosis undergo spinal MR imaging because of an atypical left-sided thoracic curve.

Many individuals suffer from chronic pain and some will develop neuropathic pain syndromes. This type of pain is difficult to treat. A large percentage of people have headaches which can be severe.

What should be done?

The first step after diagnosis is finding a neurosurgeon who is experienced in the treatment of SM. Finding a specialist is highly recommended. Surgery is the only viable treatment for SM, but not all patients will advance to the stage where surgery is needed. Evaluation of the condition is often difficult because SM can remain stationary for long periods of time, and in some cases progress rapidly.

Treatment is aimed at restoring the normal flow of spinal fluid. In persons with Chiari and SM, a procedure known as a posterior fossa decompression may be recommended. This procedure allows the cerebellar tonsils to move into a normal position, restoring the normal flow. After this procedure the syrinx will often reduce or resolve on its own. This can take months and may never completely collapse the syrinx. Some patients may require repeat surgeries. The most important consideration in deciding to undergo surgery is the severity of symptoms and overall quality of life issues.

In syrinxes associated with other causes, the surgical treatment is also aimed at restoring normal physiology and flow of spinal fluid. This might involve a bony spinal decompression, removing a tumor or scar tissue. In cases of tethered spinal cord, a surgical procedure is used to release the tension on the cord, allowing it to return to its normal position.
